Simple Cleaning Solutions began with a vision to simplify the commercial sanitation process. Our founder, Tyrone Porties, saw how Chicago businesses lagged because they could not find a reliable maid service. For example, contracts were difficult to make. Cleaning schedules clashed with business hours. And sometimes dishonesty led to company losses.
Many businesses just accepted the unnecessary complication. However, with his experience as a journeyman carpenter, Tyrone knew he could do better. In fact, there had to be an alternative—a simple alternative.

Here at Simple Cleaning Solutions, one of our core principles is giving back to the community. Therefore, we proudly stand behind City on the Hill Youth (C.O.T.H.) and recognize the transformative work that non-profit is carrying on.
C.O.T.H. is a growing Chicago-based organization that educates young people for successful and profitable careers. To that end, they provide personal vocational training and apprenticeship opportunities. As a result of C.O.T.H.’s work, over 160 youth have been empowered to enter the professional trades.
We support City on the Hill because we value how they are contributing to the Chicago community. In summary, this is C.O.T.H.’s mission statement:
At City on the Hill Youth Foundation, our mission is to bridge the gap between high school and ongoing education. Our focus is to educate and revitalize the at-risk youth of Chicago IL, ages 16-21. We accomplish this through vocational mentoring and introducing our youths and students to mentors working successfully in professional trades. In all our efforts, we focus on community and the greater good.

But our support is not merely in words. In fact, for every one hundred dollars Simple Cleaning Solutions earns, we pledge five dollars to supporting City on the Hill. That’s 5% of our earnings for charity, in other words.
Even more importantly, a large portion of our professional cleaning crew has been hand-selected from C.O.T.H. alumni. We take budding tradesmen who have graduated from the program and put their skills to work. As a result, these youth gain real world experience while earning respectable wages.
